He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Gattis and Bertha Lee Henley (Crabtree); his son Ralph Henley Jr.; his son-in-law Michael Moore; his stepson David Boaz; his former life partner Harriett Ann Henley; and his brothers, William Henley, J. B. Henley and Horace Henley.

He is survived by : his wife Lynette Henley of Decherd; his children, Randy Henley of Decherd and Connie Moore of Decherd; his stepson Don Boaz of New Mexico; his granddaughters, Cindy Hauburn and Amanda Haney; his brother Robert Henley of Decherd; and his close friends, Brandy and CiCi.
