She was predeceased by: her parents, Holden Kermit DePriest and Viola Mae "Dolly" Potts Depriest; her husband John Dee Baggett; her brother Walker; and her sister-in-law Doris DePriest.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Thompson of Dickson, TN and Michael Allen Thompson of Dickson, TN; her pets, JJ and Boomer; her close friends, Tashia Blanks (Jeremy), Carol Gibbs and Vicky Donegan; her sibling's children, Mechelle DePriest, William DePriest (Emily) and LuRosa Nenna; her cousins, Andy Potts and Juanita Potts-Elder; her friend Kelli Austin; and also, Grayce Blanks, Krystal Cardwell and April Brake. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dickson County Humane Society or Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue.
