He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie D. Brown and Georgia Goodman Brown; and his siblings, Norman, Johnny Brown, Susie Dreger, Margaret Berger and Betty Jean Cogdell.

He is survived by: his pet Joe; his wife Karyn Brown; his children, Bryan Brown (Karla), Lorena Wright, Todd Brown (Jennifer) and Angela Frazier (Al); his grandchildren, Caden Brown, William Brown, Abigail Frazier (Abby), Anna Frazier, Chad Hargis, Matthew Hargis (David), Jonathan Myers and Morgan Hamilton (Patrick); his great grandchild Emma Hargis; and his sister-in-law Patricia Hudson. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
