He was predeceased by : his parents, James Lynch and Lorene Lynch (Burns); and his brothers, Jimmy Lynch Jr., Richard Wayne Lynch and Randy Lynch.

He is survived by : his children, Eula Ann Lynch Batey, James Lynch (Gala) of Dickson, TN, Scottie Lynch (Wendy) of Dickson, TN and Angie Phillips (Scott) of Centerville, TN; his step-son Harold Hodges of Clarksville, TN; his sister Barbara Potts (Carlton) of Dickson, TN; his grandchildren, Taylor, Jason, Daniel Ray, Christopher, Kevin, Logan and Katie; and also, Ava, Braxton, Raelynn, Bentley and Heavenly.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Dickson Funeral Home (209 E College St # 37055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home (209 E College St # 37055). A burial was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at the Lynch Cemetery (Decherd, TN 37324).
