He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Turner and Mildred Walker. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Turner; his son Derek Turner (Samantha); his siblings, Thomas, Donnie Turner and Brenda Britton; and his grandchildren, Kinsley and Kamreigh Turner.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Tumbling Creek Cemetery (2633 Steel Levee Rd, Gleason, TN 38229).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, or a charity of your choice in James Turner's honor.
