He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewells Rubin Shelden and Louise Gertrude Kincaid Shelden; and his brother Steve Shelden. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Gayle Vaughn Shelden; his pet Max; his children, Tommy Hendrix (Kelly) of North Carolina, Julie Pinkard of North Carolina and Sandy Skipper of Centerville, TN; and his sister Tina Johns (Aaron) of Columbia, TN. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
