It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billy Ray Prater of Dunlap, Tennessee, who passed away on December 26, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Howard and Mary Brock Prater; his aunts and uncles, Jackson Prater, Tom Brock, Ozella Higgenbottom, Elizabeth Long, Nancy Prater, Louise Daniels and Willette Prater; and his cousin Willene Prater.

He is survived by : his children, Dolly Blaylock, Lonnie Johnson (Lora) and Joanie Garcia; and his siblings, Ann Richardson (Robert), Johnny Prater (Anita) and David Prater. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
