He was predeceased by: his parent Francis Rankin. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Dianne Abshier (Dennis) of Murphy, NC, Bonnie Layne (Ricky) of Dunlap, TN and Hollis Rankin (Vicki) of Dilliner, PA; and his grandchildren, Janette, Tammi, Jeff, Lynda, Jamie and Jill. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
