He was predeceased by : his parents, Coy McCorkle and May Duncan McCorkle; his wife Betty McCorkle; and his siblings, Delia Mae Haynes, Marie Owens, Marvin McCorkle, Paulus McCorkle, James McCorkle, Woodrow McCorkle, Frank McCorkle and Monroe McCorkle. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
