It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Lou Burns of Dyersburg, Tennessee, born in Dyer, Tennessee, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dewitt Hill and Ozie Artimus Hill (Roberts); and her siblings, Shirley Jean Abernathy, Carolyn Sue Latham, William Don Hill and Melvin Dewitt Hill.

She is survived by : her husband George Burns of Obion, TN; her children, Tonya Messer of Halls, TN and Timothy Gamble of Dyersburg, TN; and her sister Sarah Ann Leonard of Pickwick, TN.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
