We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2024, at the age of 91, Horace L. Allen of Dyersburg, Tennessee, born in Eva, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Frank Allen and Pairesettie Cole Allen; his wife Rachel Sawyers Allen; and his siblings, Grady Allen, Harold "Slim" Allen, James Limon Allen, Lozell Allen, Carnell Allen and Bertha Mildred Barr.

He is survived by : his sisters, Gurlie Joslin of Dyersburg, Betty Carr of Dyersburg and Dorothy Powers of Florence, Alabama; and his nieces, Dianne Carlisle of Dyersburg, Brandy Gooch (Alan) of Dyersburg and Raylyn Diaz (Alex) of Dyersburg.
