It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Elaine McDonald of Dyersburg, Tennessee, born in Ripley, Tennessee, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Watkins and Janie Watkins (Cates); and her husband Miles McDonald. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Dabbs of Dyersburg, TN and Franklin McDonald (Lyndsey) of Friendship, TN; and her siblings, Marilyn Buffaloe (Marty) of Gates, TN, William Watkins of Memphis, TN, James Watkins of Sikeston, MO and John Watkins of Odessa, FL.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
