He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sartin and Alice Sartin; and his brother Harold A. Sartin. He is survived by: his wife Judy Blackwood Sartin; his children, Jennifer Criswell (Gary), Brian Sartin (Beverly) and John Scott Sartin (Julie); his brother Steve Sartin (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hagood (Taylor), John Colby Sartin, Thomas Sartin, Ryan Sartin and Hollon Sartin; and his great grandchildren, Hudson, Hayden and Hendon Hagood.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Three Oaks Baptist Church (1105 Resthome Rd, Dyersburg, TN 38024). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family request that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the ministries of Three Oaks Baptist Church.
