He is survived by: his mother Linda Burden; his sister Melissa Crews; his sibling's children, Shane McLain and Deana Powell; his great-nephews, Hunter, Jasper, Syris McLain and Legend Powell; and his great-niece Athena Powell.
They ask that memorials be directed to the work of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
