He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Owen, Jr.; his grandparents, Arthur, Gladys Owen, T. C. and Nora Lock; his brother-in-law Clifford Rumley; his uncles, Lowell Owen and Bobby Gene Owen; and his great-nephew Jackson Rumley.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Jo Lock Owen of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his wife Faye Ellis Owen of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his daughter Kimberly Faye Owen of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his brother Pat Owen (Patricia) of Newbern, Tennessee; his siblings-in-law, Tommy Ellis (Barbara) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Joan Ellis Rumley of Atlanta, Georgia; and his pet Fonzie. He is also survived by two nieces; four nephews.
