She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmon Burden and Bessie Roberts Burdin; her significant other Charles Edward Gipson; her granddaughter Ashley Gipson; and her siblings, Sammy Burden, Robert Burden, Lillian Haddock, Hazel Jones, Juanita Alexander Moody and Ruth Hendren.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Taylor (Terry) of RoEllen and Linda Snider (Kevin) of Troy, Illinois; her sister Genevieve Jones of Dyersburg; and her grandchildren, Thomas Taylor, Joey Taylor, Samantha Hediger (Payton), Zachary Snider (Tina), Beth Anne Eilers (Luke) and Steven Edward Gipson, II (Kristen). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
