He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Brownlee Shannon and Mavis Arnold Shannon. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephene Forsythe (Larry) of Finley, Tammy Stover (Adam) of Dyersburg and Kerri Jefferies (Corey) of Newbern, Tennessee; and his sister Amy Kemp Jones of Dyersburg, Tennessee. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
