With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Hines (East Ridge, Tennessee), born in Jasper, Tennessee, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dorothy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Hines; her sons, Graham Hines (Brandy) and Sam Hines (Nikki); her grandchildren, Addie, Hudson and Hadley Hines; and her brother Bill (Terry).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home-East Chapel (404 S Moore Rd, East Ridge, TN 37412). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
