He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vandeventer and Cora Buckles Vandeventer; his wife Joyce Elizabeth Vandeventer; and his siblings, Velma Glover, Pauline Nave and Phil Vandeventer.
He is survived by: his son Carman Vandeventer (Angie).
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (212 N Main St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
