He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Reeser Eggers; his sons, Travis Eggers (Lorrie) of Blountville and Eric Eggers (Penny) of Dacula, Georgia; his grandchildren, McKenzie Caldwell (Todd) of Elizabethton, Cody Eggers (Kayla) of Elizabethton, Karra Davis of Watertown, Lexi Eggers of Dacula, Bailee Bullock (Hunter) of Dacula, Ally Eggers of Dacula and Chloe Hambrick of Elizabethton; his great grandchildren, Brycen Eggers of Elizabethton, Reid Caldwell of Elizabethton, Callie Caldwell of Elizabethton, Cainan Eggers of Elizabethton, Cohen Eggers of Elizabethton and Kyson Eggers of Elizabethton; his sisters, Ava Nell Morely of Elizabethton, Carolyn Pierce of Elizabethton and Glenda Parks of Elizabethton; and his siblings-in-law, Joy and Floyd Reeser of Elizabethton. He is also survived by his family, his church family and his work family and friends.
