She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lingerfelt and Louella Lingerfelt (Bennett); her husband William A. "Bill" Hensley; her siblings, Ivan Lingerfelt, Kenneth Lingerfelt, Conley Lingerfelt, Delores Haun, Nancy Lingerfelt and Neita Lingerfelt; and her son-in-law Michael Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Rice and Toney Hensley (Cindy); and her siblings, Wilbur Lingerfelt (Mary), Lawrence Lingerfelt (Zelda) and Ann Schaffer. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Elsie's name to Erwin Church of God's Building Fund, 772 Rock Creek Road, Erwin, TN 37650.
