She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Thompson and Josephine Thompson (Yeiser); her brother Charles Jay Thompson; and her son-in-law Mark Sullins. She is survived by: her husband Jack Gardner of Erwin; her children, Mary Jo Sullins (Gardner), Carol Grace Moorhouse (Jeff), Sally Ann Sneyd (John David) and Andy Gardner; her grandchildren, Grace Ann Heller (Sam), Hannah Beth Moorhouse, Marshall Sullins and Marlie Sullins; and her brother William Bruce Thompson, Jr..
