She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Guy Hayes and Anna Kate Surcey Hayes; her daughter Michelle Ann Tester-Knight; and her brother Oscar Hayes, II. She is survived by: her husband Gregory Paul Grubbs; her granddaughter Kendra Knight; her sisters, Patty Kiser of Alaska, Wanda McQuillen of Alaska and Tammy Yarber of Alaska; and her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Harrell of Erwin and Lynda Phillips of Erwin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
