It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Minton of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 93, on November 9, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Minton and Maggie Minton; his wife Alenia T. Minton; his son Jerry Lynn Smith; and his siblings, Bill Minton, Blaine Minton, Jimmy Joe Minton, Nelda Shiles, June Whitson and Maxine Barnett.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Mitchell (Larry) of Erwin; his granddaughter Angie Williams of Erwin; his great grandchildren, Tyler Williams (Carrie) of Johnson City and Makena Williams of Erwin; and his great great grandchild Ava Williams of Johnson City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Due to Covid-19 recommendations, family and friends planning to attend services are requested to wear a protective face covering and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Mr. Minton to Ninth Street Baptist Church, 310 Ninth Street, Erwin, TN 37650.
