He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Daniel Platt, Sr. and Isabell Wright Platt. He is survived by: his wife Erma Lee Stone Platt of Estill Springs; his children, Rebecca Forkel (Ryan) of Tullahoma, Tenn, Kristina Cutchens (Christopher) of Miami, Fla., Scott Platt (Camille) of Broomfield and Colo; his grandchildren, Kate, Allie, Lindsey, Kyndal and Jesse; his great grandchild Everlee; and his sister Lora Platt of Florida.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mr. Platt's memory to Vision Church, 300 W. Main Street, Decherd, TN 37324.
