He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Sherrill; his parents, Gaines Sherrill and Hattie Sherrill; and his siblings, Ollie Tollet, Carrie Smith, Rainey Sherrill, Rodger Sherrill and Arnold Sherrill.
He is survived by: his children, David Sherrill of Evensville, TN, Randy Sherrill (Stephanie) of Evensville, TN, Wanda Williams (James) of Spring City, TN, Linda Tanner (Eddie) of Crossville, TN and Brenda Harris of Spring City, TN; his brother Frank Sherrill (Jessie) of Spring City, TN; and his sister-in-law Mable Sherrill of McMinnville, TN. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren.
Due to the corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic, out of concern for public health, and in accordance with government guidelines, a graveside will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020 at 1:00 pm ET at the Dunn Cemetery in Pikeville, TN with Bro. Phillip Averrette officiating.
