He is survived by: his wife Kathy Worthey of Farner, TN; his children, Karen Shorette (Jady) of Hiwassee Dam, NC, Shelley Higdon (Chris) of Ducktown, TN and Daniel Worthey of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Hoyt Worthy of Farner, TN, Velvie Mantooth of Cleveland, TN, Elsie Cox of Cleveland, TN and Willa Mae Hicks of Cleveland, TN; his grandchildren, Taylor Higdon, Raegan Higdon, Jaden Shorette and Madison Shorette; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Hicks (Teresa) and Debbie Self. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
