He was predeceased by : his parents, N. J. "Pint" Renfro and Ruby West Renfro McPhearson; his grandparents, Nolen, Mary Shelton Renfro, Allen and Annie B. West; and his siblings, Roger Renfro and Janie Patrick.

He is survived by : his nephews, Bobby Patrick and Billy Patrick; his sister Mary Ann Lewter Hobbs; and his sister-in-law Anne Beddingfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lynchburg Funeral Home (1630 Fayetteville Hwy, Lynchburg, TN 37352). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
