She was predeceased by: her parents, Shellie Wardlaw and Mattie Sue Wardlaw; her husbands, William David Kendall and Bobby Thomas; her brother Roy Wardlaw; and her granddaughter Lindsey Renee Dupree.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Kendall Sharp (David), Debra Kendall (Casey), Denise Kendall Womack (Kerry) and John David Kendall (Aleisha); and her grandchildren, Adam Sharp, Chelsea Sharp, Josh Womack, Kacey Womack Butler, Ashlyn Grace Kendall Poole, Zachary Kendall, Lily Kendall and Luke Kendall.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM and at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kids to Love, continuing Ruby's legacy of compassion and care for children.
