It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Elaine Cathey Damons of Finley, Tennessee, born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Cathey, Jr. and Lorene Kirk Cathey; her husband Jerry Damons; and her brothers, Gene Cathey and Roger Cathey.

She is survived by : her son Stacey Gregory (Trish) of Grovertown, Indiana; her brother Randy Cathey of Finley, Tennessee; her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Cathey of Friendship and Mary Cathey of Rochester; her granddaughters, Elaine, Abigail and Isabella Gregory; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Emmie and Coraline Thompson.
