He was predeceased by : his wife Vera Rodman Clardy; his parents, Dock Clardy and Daisy Clardy; and his siblings, James M "Jim" Clardy (Vera Clardy), William C. Clardy and Virginia "Tennie" Clardy Franklin.

He is survived by : his daughter Daisy Clardy White (Jamie White); and his grandson James Charles Arlan "Jimmy" White.
