She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas McElyea and Doris McElyea; her daughter Kristi Dale Jones; and her siblings, Sarah Koonce, Clara Hill and Ray McElyea.

She is survived by : her husband Dale Jones of Flintville; her son Eric Jones (Bridgette) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Walt Jones, Jillian Jones and Eve Jones; and her brother Rickey McElyea. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
