She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wesley Jones and Minnie Wawee Moore Caruthers; her son Christopher Matthew Babcock; her sister Eula Mae Lyles; her nieces, Patty Phillips and Sandra Thurman; and her nephew Michael Lyles.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Babcock; her children, Gregory Allen Babcock, Lorrie Hendrickson (Todd), Valerie Babcock, Christy Thom (Tim) and Jennifer Kunic (Russ); her grandchildren, Kristen, Lucas, Emily and Fayth; her great grandchild Ophelia; her niece Cheryl Green; her nephew Lester Phillips; and her great-niece Karen Yates.
For those wishing to donate in lieu of flowers, the LifeToday.org ministries "Mission Feeding" and "Water for Life" were very close to Carol's heart.
