He was predeceased by : his parents, William Sidney and Mae Belle Midget Scallion; and his wife Alta Ruth Avery. He is survived by : his sons, Larry Scallion (Bridgette), Gary Scallion (Marcia), Kenny Scallion (Julie) and Andy Scallion (Sherry); and his sister Helen Page of Newbern, TN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
