It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Mac Thompson (Friendship, Tennessee), born in Dyer, Tennessee, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Julian Thompson and Zella Permenter Thompson; his former life partner Carolyn Williams Thompson; his sons, Michael Thompson and Guy Massey; and his sister Billie Ellis.

He is survived by : his wife Sherry Spence Thompson; his daughters, Mitzi Goff (Billy), Michelle Barnard (Dewey) and Stacey Dunevant; his stepson Kenneth Fewell (Dinah); his grandchildren, Hunter Simmons (Kateland), Brittany Goff, Drake Simmons (Lauren), Asia Thompson, Holly Massey, Matthew, Ethan Dunevant, Perri Holcomb (Jake) and Danni Fewell; and his sisters, Nancy Brimm, Judy Pylent (Dennis) and Patsy Dunevant. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
