With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Waneita Christie of Gallatin, Tennessee, born in Plant City, Florida, who passed away on October 18, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivy Wesley Wilkes and Fannie Lee Wilkes (Walker); and her sisters, Cleone Franklin, Betty Ashley and Virginia Willis.

She is survived by: her husband James Willis Christie; her daughters, Lisa Norrod (Matt Norrod) and Tisha Christie; her grandson Christopher Storath; her siblings, Sylvia Youmans, Faye Baldwin and John Wilkes, Jr.; and her pet Lady. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
