She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Hall and Clara Hall; her husband Earnest O. Carter, Jr.; and her sisters, Barbara "Bobbie" Vanderpool of Lura, DeLoche and Ida "Pinkie" Donnell.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Milliken, Pam Leak (Rhett) and Thomas "Lee" Carter (Karen); her grandchildren, Joshua Phillips (Debbie), Jacob Phillips, Adam Carter, Anthony Milliken (Jey), Ashley Fontenot (David), Rachel Gruss (David) and Lara Caves; her great grandchildren, Kai Phillips, Shelby Phillips, Dominic Cuneo, Bill Caves, Kash Hartwell, Micah Fontenot of Addason Wellington, D. J, Fontenot, Jr., Ahron Milliken, Hayud Milliken and Juliana Gruss; her goddaughter Theresa Fields; and her niece Terri Williams. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
