She was predeceased by: her parents, John Crockett Carter and Viola Pauline Carter; and her brother John Crockett Carter, Jr. (Connie). She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Wade; her children, Ashley Freeman, Tim Freeman (Margaret Ewing) and Meagan Crisp (Austin); and her grandchildren, John Turner Crisp, Cecilia Pauline Frewing and Henry Crockett Frewing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Old Union Church of Christ for the Youth Fund or Food Pantry.
