Gheorghe Ghita Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gheorghe Ghita of Castalian Springs, Tennessee, who passed away on June 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manta Bogde and Smaranda Bogde; and his siblings, Ionel, Nicu, Marioara, Ioana, Tache, Fanel, Vasile and Marin.
He is survived by: his wife Aurica Ghita; and his children, Eremia Ghita (Doina), Emilia Todor (Partenie), Gabriela Suiogan (Vasile), Livio Ghita (Cornelia), Patricia Tabitha Ghita, Daniela Stoian (Costel), David Ghita, Samuel Ghita, Christina Mateut (Ovi), Jullian Ghita (Ravé), Adrian Ghita (Maria), Jonathan Ghita (Tania) and Rebecca Oltean (Marius). He is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bethel Romanian Church of God (585 Harris Ln, Gallatin, TN 37066). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075).
