She was predeceased by: her parents, Edd Sherrod and Ida Sherrod; her son William "Bill" Ferrell; her siblings, Nell Petty, Wolfield, David, Barthel and Sidney Sherrod; her niece Shelia Ragan; and her close friend James Cato.
She is survived by: her sister Opal Mai Harper; her caregivers, Faye and Fate Evans; her niece Dianne Smith; and her friend Doris Nash. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; co-worker.
