He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hargis Wade Sr. and June Allen Carr (Gregory); his brother Frank Wade; and his great grandchild Launa Michelle Beecham. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Wade (Woodall); his children, Cynthia King, Hargis Wade (Tina) and Adam Lee Wade (Sarah); his grandchildren, Jeremy Wade, Rebecca Lauren Wade, Jacob King, Joshua Austin King, Kayelee King, Nick Abernathey and Katherine Elizabeth Wade; his son Cody Wade; his great grandchild Damon Everett Flynn; his brothers, Robert Wade and Curtis Wade; and his pet Buster.
