It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Matthew Flannery of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Flannery and Marion Flannery; his brother William Flannery; and his grandson Zachary Verito. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Flannery; his children, Keith Flannery (Darlene) and Mellissa Flannery (Dennis); his sister Debra Gucciardo; his sister-in-law Anne Flannery; his cousin Brian Kinnari; his grandchildren, Sydney McCarty, Mason Flannery (Mary), Nicholaus Verito (Allana), Rob Verito Jr. (Shannen), Anthony Verito and Rayne Hillman; his great grandchild Kaisley Hillman; and his close friends, Patricia Swearingen (Mark), Michael DeBenedetto, Matthew Swearingen, Emily Bentley (Luke), Nicholas Swearingen, Gary Moore, Kathi and Chris Helms.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rawlings Funeral Home (716 Eastgate Rd, Sevierville, TN 37862). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Middle Creek Cemetery (1830 Middle Creek Rd, Sevierville, TN 37862).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Rawlings Funeral Home or the American Cancer Society.
