She was predeceased by : her husband Larry W. Wood; and her parents, Bennie Nichols and Harriett Nichols. She is survived by : her children, Tim Wood of Germantown and Darla Wood of Memphis; her grandson Spencer Morgan of Germantown; and her sisters, Darlene Eckbloom of Arlington, TN and Sharon McDaniel of Olive Branch, MS..

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Hill East Cemetery (2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
