He was predeceased by: his parents, DW Swindle and Erva Swindle; and his siblings, Delores Aldred and Charlie Swindle. He is survived by: his wife Kathyrn "Kathy" Hatcher Swindle; his children, Jeffrey Swindle, Melanie Swindle and Jon Swindle; his grandchildren, Jonathan Adabi, Joseph Adabi, Jon Wesley Swindle, Sawyer Ray Swindle, Addison Swindle, Madelynn Hamade, Kristopher Hamade and Emmi Hamade; and his siblings, Jimmy Swindle, Betty Nixon Glaeser, Loretta Gassaway, David W. Swindle and Linda Ryder. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, loyal friends and his bluegrass family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home (2707 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
