He was predeceased by: his former wife Helen Lain Harris; his siblings, Hilary Harris and Jean Cooper; his son Steve Harris; and his grandchildren, William Frey and Claire Blue.

He is survived by: his pet Tiger; his wife Ann Lemoine Featherstone Harris; and his children, Cindy Lepley, Janet Frey, Carl Harris, Danny Harris, Albert Harris, Amanda Harris, Joseph Harris (Em) and Sam Harris (Janetta). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Flowers are appreciated or in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Alive Hospice of Nashville or The Alzheimer's Association.
