It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ethel Jones of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Wilbur Eudon "W. E." Latham and Mary Frances Latham (Ware); and her sisters, Betty Eudonice (Latham) and Rogers (Roy). She is survived by: her husband Rev. Max Jones; her aunt Tillie Dell (Ware); her children, Joy Renee Hodges (Bob), Max Ray Jones, Jr. and Phillip Byron Jones (Tammy); her nieces, Denise Mitchell (Tom), Nanette Foster (Art) and Monica Daye (Jason); her grandchildren, Josh Hodges, Jeremy Hodges, Harrison Jones, Hannah Giarraputo (Cam) and Samuel Jones (Jenna); and her great grandchildren, Conner Hodges, Finn Hodges, Piper Hodges, Parker Hodges, Josiah Jones and Stephen Jones.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside (104 Sanders Ferry Rd, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075).
