It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ragland Jw of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ragland may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ragland touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ragland and Mayzell Dudney Ragland; his son Jonathan Wesley Ragland; his brother David Ragland; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Pace.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Ragland of Goodlettsville, TN; his children, Christopher Ragland of Durham, NC, Jerome Marquardt (Tosha) of Beauford, NC and Jenine Pace of Cottontown, TN; and his siblings, Rayburn Ragland (Judy) of Bethpage, TN and Sherry Goins (Steve) of Portland, TN. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home White House (533 TN-76, White House, TN 37188). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
