He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Ezra Wilkes and Rebecca Wilkes; and his brothers, William Wilkes and Jimmy Wilkes. He is survived by : his wife Janet Wilkes; his brother Joe Wilkes (Carolyn Wilkes); his nephews, Joe Wilkes II (Teresa Wilkes) and Barry Wilkes (Amy Wilkes); and his niece Danette Wells (Sean Wells).
