He was predeceased by: his mother Margie Childress; and his sister Lana Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo "JoJo" Childress; his children, Paul Childress (Kim Childress) and Melissa Reese (Craig Reese); his grandchildren, Ellie Reese, Logan Reese and PJ Childress; and his mother-in-law Mary Ann Hlad.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home (2707 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
