It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Edwards of Grand Junction, Tennessee, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gilbert Winstead and Christine Hurt Winstead; her husband Dr. Nicholas H. Edwards; her son Michael Lee Edwards; and her daughter-in-law Sara Sills Edwards.

She is survived by : her mother-in-law Mattie Lee Schaeffer Edwards; her sons, Nick Edwards Jr. of Grand Junction and Scott W. Edwards of Atlanta, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Lauren Spencer and Nikki Edwards.

Memorial contributions may be sent to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
